Senior Family Solicitor

Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join a growing Family Law team where you will take ownership of a varied and complex caseload, work closely with senior colleagues and play an important role in the continued development of the department.

This is a role suited to an ambitious solicitor who is confident handling their own matters, enjoys a high level of autonomy and is looking for genuine progression within a supportive team.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of Family and Children Law matters across both private and public law, including complex cases involving domestic abuse, child protection and court proceedings.

About You

You will have:

Strong experience managing your own Family Law caseload
Excellent knowledge of Legal Aid and CCMS processes
Good advocacy and court experience
Experience dealing with complex and sensitive family matters
Experience supervising or mentoring more junior colleagues
Good commercial awareness and an understanding of billing and targets
A proactive approach to business development and networking
Children Panel accreditation, or a genuine interest in working towards accreditation, would be highly desirable
