Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are covered to ensure the company's competitiveness in the market. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Assessment: Analyze and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for all aspects of construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and incorporate them into the cost estimation process.
Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit competitive bids and tenders in line with company standards and client requirements.
Value Engineering: Recommend cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions without compromising on quality and safety.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.
Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure the best value for the company.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, contracts, and other relevant documentation for future reference.
Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing to ensure our estimates remain competitive and current.Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with a focus on groundworks, reinforced concrete frames, civil engineering, and builders work.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) are an advantage.Personal Attributes:
