Senior Estimator
We are currently looking for a senior estimator to join a reputable specialist engineering contractor. The opportunity is to work on some of the London's most challenging and high-profile engineering projects. You can have to opportunity to work on projects up to £60 million.
The role
Prepare estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Calculate quantities, labour, materials and other project expenses.
Build up rates using actual resources, productivity and material requirements rather than relying solely on historical rates.
Work with the preconstruction team to develop competitive bids, assess value-engineering options, challenge assumptions and support commercial negotiations.You should have:
Experience from initial tender review through submission, award and handover.
The ability to identify risk, opportunity and cost-saving alternatives.
The ability to manage competing tenders, deadlines and deliverables.
The ability to build up costs from labour, materials, productivity and methodology.What we can offer
