The Client:

Our client is a renowned construction firm, providing exceptional construction, civil engineering, and joinery services to its clientele.

The Role:

As SeniorEstimator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing tender lifecycle from receipt to submission and post-tender queries.

Responsibilities:

Analyse tender documents to grasp project requirements and risks.
Coordinate with internal teams for specialist support on insurance, commercial terms, and technical aspects.
Conduct material take-offs and prepare enquiries.
Estimate labour, plant, material, and time requirements for tender cost computation.
Maintain detailed records and organised work schedules.
Creating precise and detailed estimates for a variety of tenders.
Update estimating software with current rates and purchasing information.
Prepare tender reports and commercial documents for handover meetings.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive quotations.

Requirements:

Previously worked as an Estimator or in a similar role.
Experience in civil engineering projects.
Possess extensive technical expertise and knowledge in construction estimating.
Ability to manage multiple tenders while meeting deadlines.
Computer literate, ideally with substantial experience in Causeway or equivalent estimating software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
