The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in shaping the financial success of a landmark nuclear infrastructure project. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering packages, analysing drawings and specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop competitive bids, and identifying cost risks and opportunities. You will support tender presentations and client negotiations, maintaining estimating databases to ensure compliance with governance standards.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator on major infrastructure projects (£50m+).
Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction cost frameworks.
A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or related discipline.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.It’s great if you also have:

Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors.
Familiarity with estimating software and digital cost management tools.
