Senior Environment Consultant

Description:

Our client, an established consulting and engineering services group, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Environment Consultant to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage or lead in the delivery of environmental workstreams.
Provide environmental input into design development independently and within project teams.
Project manage and author environmental assessments, coordinating with subject matter experts for specialist input.
Offer technical solutions to clients on infrastructure or construction projects.
Lead coordination and provide direction on environmental matters.
Support the business development, including the preparation of fee proposals and bid documents.
Ensure environmental compliance per client standards, requirements, and policies.
Interface with clients for environmental coordination, resolving queries and issues.

Job Requirements:

Degree in any environmental discipline.
Experience within environment design teams, ideally delivering infrastructure or construction projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write technical reports.
Preference for experience in major infrastructure, water or construction projects.
Knowledge of EU and UK environmental legislation and current best practices.
Proofing, editing, and report collation experience.
Decision-making abilities based on logical and reasoned judgment.
Problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving complex issues.
Experience with DCO's, consents, and permits is desirable.
