Senior Environment Advisor
Warrington with site travel
£400 per day (Outside IR35)
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a high-profile Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Senior Environment Advisor. The organisation has an excellent track record of successful operation across major capital work projects primarily focusing on the gas utilities sector and are continuing to grow rapidly.
Responsibilities for the Senior Environment Advisor will include:
Ensuring the delivery of the environmental policy, and compliance with legislation and regulations across a wide range of projects.
Carrying out site inspections and audits, undertake preliminary environmental assessments and provide environmental training where required
Acting as the main point of contact for the environmental sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators
Provide support in carbon measurement carbon reduction opportunitiesThe successful Senior Environment Advisor will have:
Proven experience in a similar role ideally within utilities, construction, infrastructure or wider built environment
Ideally a degree in a relevant Environmental related subject or hold a relevant professional e.g. IEMA
Experience with Environmental management systems e.g., ISO14001, waste management plans and ideally carbon and energy reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholdersContact James Cox on (phone number removed). Reference
