Description:
PE Global is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a leading multi-national oil/gas client based in Camberley. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
• This project role is responsible for all mechanical procurement packages, assigned to Mechanical PREs, in terms of compliance to project requirements, HSEQ targets, delivery time.
• Coordinate at project level with other project discipline leads and project quality manager to ensure the right, consistent and multidisciplinary approach to all project tasks.
• Ensure engineering information flow to and from suppliers in compliance with project execution schedule.
• Drive overall efficient project execution also with reference to delivery time, HSEQ targets, and budget.
• Some international travel will be required
Education/Experience
• Degree in relevant technical engineering disciplines - BSc as a minimum, MSc is preferred.
• Optimal 10 years relevant work experience as PRE or in this role on relevant packages type and industry. Topsides or onshore, oil and gas.
• Command of at least one Scandinavian language is preferred.
• Conversant with IT tools such as programming languages, spreadsheets, engineering calculation software.
