Job Title: Engineering Manager
Organisation: A leading Regional Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Head Office in Bury, with activities across various project sites in the North West

Reports To: Project Manager

Engineering Manager – What you will be doing:
As an Engineering Manager, you will:
Set out lines and levels to ensure construction aligns with contract drawings/specifications
Prepare and maintain work records and data sheets in compliance with contract requirements
Assist Site Agents/Contract Supervisors/Senior Engineers with contract administration
Conduct topographical surveys and assist with GPS setup and monitoring on plant equipment
Maintain quality records as directed by Senior Engineers/Site Agents
Produce As-Built Drawings as per Client requirements
Perform site surveys for weekly/monthly measurements
Submit processed information to Quantity Surveyors and Site Agents
Assist with the control of site activities, including sub-contractors, as directed
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies
Complete daily site diaries
Project a professional image
Work effectively as part of a team and maintain client relations Engineering Manager – Key Accountabilities:
Accurate setting out and surveying
Comprehensive record-keeping and data management
Supporting contract administration
GPS setup and monitoring
Quality record maintenance
As-Built Drawing production
Weekly/monthly site measurements
Coordination with Quantity Surveyors and Site Agents
Site activity management
Adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards
Daily site diary completion
