Role Description

• Creating an environment that encourages process improvement activities through adopting a continuous improvement and value-driven approach.
• Review and identify requirements for process improvement and change across capability areas on the SSNA programme.
• Facilitate and manage the creation, development and deployment of effective processes which govern the use of strategic toolsets and ways of working on the SSNA programme.
• Engaging effectively with internal and external customers/stakeholders including Engineering process and governance owners and respective SMEs (Subject Matter Expert).
• Working with strategic toolset teams on SSNA and NXGenDigital to enable the deployment of new toolsets and process based training material.
• Creating an understanding of the need for appropriate process development and governance through involvement with Capability Leads and Process Subject Matter Experts.
• Creating Engineering process development and design philosophies including value stream mapping, key performance indicator metrics & SIPOC methodology (Supplier-Input-Process-Output-Customer).

Core Duties
Looking for a process engineer. Managing stakeholders and managing small projects. Data analytic, lean, Six Sigma background would be very beneficial. Electrical, mechanical, structural engineering experience would be useful. Also looking for someone with good management & communication skills. Understanding of STEM.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

• Have the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Skilled in understanding the needs and demands of a diverse group of stakeholders so as to develop strong relationship & trust across the business.
• You will ideally have a recognised higher-level qualification in a STEM subject, or industry experience in a similar role (Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering etc.)

Skills: (Recommended max 5 /statements)
• Knowledge of Quality standards and/ or Process development techniques (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean-manufacturing)
• Experience managing or leading projects comprised of small teams and / or diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience of change management or transformation projects.
• Experience working with CAD and PLM tools (NX / Teamcenter)

The NXGenDigital Process Team is a small team with great energy. We are huge believers in doing things better and want to make a real difference in how our programmes operate through the use of new toolsets and ways of working. We believe that we need a way of working that helps make the lives of our design and build teams easier and allows us to meet our business and programme goals efficiently. We have been set up as part of the NXGenDigital programme to manage the creation and development of processes to be used alongside strategic toolsets, which add value to the end user.

Hybrid working is offered with the current expectation of working on site twice a fortnight
