Senior Engineer - Chassis Development

As a Senior Engineer - Chassis Development, you will help shape motorcycle performance from early concept through to start of production, working alongside talented cross-functional teams and external suppliers.  What You Will Do as Senior Engineer - Chassis Development

Develop suspension, tyres, chassis geometry, braking systems and ergonomics for new and updated chassis projects, balancing function, cost and product requirements.
Produce high-quality inspection data and 2D inspection drawings to support development and validation activities.
Develop and maintain development and test procedures, and ensure they are followed consistently.
Create supporting documentation for development tests and day-to-day engineering activities.
Liaise with internal stakeholders across Product Strategy, Industrial Design, Product Development, Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, Quality and Assembly, plus external suppliers.
Plan and conduct UK and overseas tests, helping coordinate riders, technicians, engineers and external contractors during development activities.

What You Will Bring as Senior Engineer - Chassis Development:

Degree-level qualification or equivalent, along with a minimum 2 years' experience in automotive/motorcycle engineering design and chassis engineering
An understanding of motorcycle geometry, chassis layout, ergonomics and chassis construction.
Practical experience with vehicle maintenance and preparation, plus suspension unit service and maintenance, is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with chassis development testing and 3D measuring systems & some CAD experience
