Senior Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team responsible for delivery of major projects on our 17-year civils and concrete structures framework for the PPP at Sellafield. Works will include earthworks, 
concrete structures blockwork and concrete structures.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career through an industry leading collaboration and will include the following activities during both pre-construction and construction phases of projects.
• Management of works in line with programmes, health and safety and quality procedures.
• Liaison with client technical, delivery and design teams.
• Liaison and management of SRM departments including temporary works, lifting solutions, 
quality, and safety.
• Management and supervision of specialist subcontractors
• Supervision and mentoring of engineering staff.
• Production of construction documentation

Location

This role will be based in West Cumbria both on and off the nuclear licenced site. Occasional visits may 
be necessary to SRM and client offices near Warrington.

Your profile

• Ideally a degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or related field
• Experience running more than one section discipline, preferably with experience in reinforced 
concrete.
• A passion for delivering a Quality product. Nuclear or similar experience would be 
advantageous.
• Technically proficient and problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent communication skills
• A collaborative approach to project delivery
