Description:
Unite People are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to work on an infrastructure project in the Coventry area.
Duties:
* Manage Site Engineers, ensuring accurate setting out and site surveys
* Collation and production of asbuilts
* Support and mentor Trainee and Junior Engineers
* Writing, checking, managing ITP's
* QA work
* Temp Works and Permanent Design familiarisation
* Problem solving design issues that surface
* Writing / Checking RAMS and TBS
* Checking, drafting and issuing permits
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
* A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience as a Section or Senior Engineer previously
* Ability to work as part of a team and achieve tight deadlines and communicate effectively.
* Report writing.
* Knowledge of management processes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
* Proficiency in design of infrastructure projects and analysis software.
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources, and meet project milestones.
