Senior Site Engineer – Data Centre
Location: Middlesbrough
Duration: 18–24 Months
Contract: Freelance / Long-Term
Bond Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to work on a major data centre development in Middlesbrough, working for a leading UK main contractor.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a Senior Engineer with a strong background in delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data centre or industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing and coordinating a team of Site Engineers.
*
Overseeing all engineering activities and setting-out operations.
*
Managing QA/QC processes, inspections and documentation.
*
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
*
Reviewing technical drawings and resolving engineering issues.
*
Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team.
*
Monitoring progress and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
*
Ensuring engineering works comply with site health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on large construction projects.
*
Previous data centre experience advantageous.
*
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and engineering documentation.
*
Experience managing and supervising other engineers.
*
Excellent technical knowledge and ability to interpret construction drawings.
*
CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications.
