* Make sure works meet specifications, drawings and quality standards
* Monitor site operations and find practical solutions to technical challenges
* Support programme management and progress monitoring
* Manage engineering records, documentation and quality assurance
* Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site-based technical staff
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders, and build strong client relationships
* Champion health, safety and environmental standards and keep improving delivery processes
What you'll bring
* Demonstrable experience in construction, utilities or infrastructure
* Strong grasp of engineering principles and construction techniques
* Experience supporting civil engineering projects from planning through to completion
* Ability to balance quality, safety and programme objectives
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior engineers
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* HND, Degree Apprenticeship or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Desirable
* Clean water or wastewater experience
* Previous work on water projects delivered under framework arrangements
* Knowledge of treatment works, pipelines, storage facilities or similar construction
* Professional membership, or working towards accreditation
