Senior Electrical Technician | Oxford | £35,000pa - £37,000pa plus benefits:
MARS Recruitment is exclusively recruiting a Senior Electrical Technician on behalf specialist manufacturer of high-tech systems and devices. If you like variety, then look no further, as this role covers both the wiring and testing of their products and some light electrical maintenance of their production facility.
This would really suit a Senior Electrical Technician who enjoys being hands on and lives and breathes electrical build, maintenance and testing. Your key responsibilities will be:
Assemble, wire and test control cabinets racks and test equipment in accordance with the Quality Manual, technical specifications, drawings and work instructions
Earth bond and safety testing of control cabinets and products
Carry out single and three phase electrical facilities work on site as required
Manufacture or modify, as required, jigs, fixtures and test equipment in accordance with drawings and instruction
About you:
The successful Senior Electrical Technician will need the following experience and skills are essential criteria:
Essential
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, functional specifications, work instructions, etc.
Experience in fault-finding and diagnostics
Experience of working within an ISO9001 discipline
Desirable
Completion of electrical apprenticeship
Qualified to BS (Apply online only) IET Wiring Regulations - 18th Edition
Qualified to C&G 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent)
Experience with panel / cabinet box build
Building maintenance
