Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer looking to take ownership of technical standards, electrical design and compliance for a growing renewable energy business?

On offer is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Solar PV and Battery Storage specialist, where you will become the go-to technical authority across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial projects. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping engineering standards, approving designs and supporting project delivery, whilst remaining hands-on in a highly technical position.

This company delivers innovative renewable energy solutions across the UK and continues to grow its presence within the commercial and industrial sectors. As part of this expansion, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with an experienced engineer capable of taking responsibility for the electrical integrity and compliance of complex electrical installations. Previous Solar PV or Battery Storage experience would be advantageous but is not essential, with full industry-specific training available for the right candidate.

In this role you will review and approve electrical designs, produce and assess SLDs and schematics, provide technical guidance to project and installation teams, support DNO applications and ensure projects comply with current regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, designers, electricians and subcontractors, helping resolve technical issues throughout project delivery.

The Role:

Review and approve electrical designs and technical documentation
Produce and assess SLDs, schematics and design calculations
Support grid connection applications and DNO requirements
Provide technical support throughout installation, commissioning and certification
Drive engineering standards and electrical compliance across the business
Monday-Friday, 37.5-hour week

The Person:

Senior Electrical Engineer
Experience with commercial or industrial electrical installations
Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing
Solar PV, Battery Storage, DNO or power generation experience advantageous but not essential
