A highly respected electrical engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in their London Bridge office.

With a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality engineering solutions across the built environment, the consultancy specialises in complex and large-scale projects across sectors including data centres, commercial offices, healthcare, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure.

The business works closely with leading developers, clients, and contractors to deliver efficient, reliable, and future-focused electrical design solutions. Through technical excellence and a commitment to quality, they have developed long-standing relationships with major clients and continue to successfully deliver some of the industry's most challenging projects.

Key Projects Include:
Data Centres: Designing advanced electrical systems for high-security facilities across the UK and Europe, supporting resilience, reliability, and operational uptime.
Commercial Offices: Delivering efficient and sustainable electrical solutions for modern corporate environments.
Healthcare Facilities: Developing compliant and robust electrical systems for hospitals and specialist healthcare buildings.
Industrial Facilities: Providing electrical infrastructure solutions for complex manufacturing and industrial operations.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical designs across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on data centres and commercial developments.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading electrical design projects from concept stage through to completion.
Producing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
Collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensuring all designs comply with relevant UK standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Managing project deliverables, budgets, programmes, and resources.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Attending site visits, client meetings, and project discussions as required.
Supporting installation, commissioning, and resolving technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Experience Required:
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy environment.
Experience working on data centres, commercial developments, or other technically complex projects.
Proficiency with electrical design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux.
Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and support project teams.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
