Location: Southampton, Brighton, London, Reading or High Wycombe

The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Electrical or EICA Engineer looking for a role where you can have greater technical influence?
Advance TRS are working with a leading engineering consultancy that is continuing to invest and grow across the UK water sector. With a strong pipeline of major water and wastewater projects, they are looking for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join their established team.
The Role
Working across a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, you will take a senior technical role from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and construction support.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the delivery of electrical and EICA designs across complex water and wastewater projects
Providing technical direction and ensuring high engineering standards across projects
Producing and reviewing key deliverables including Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, specifications and control philosophies
Working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Supporting technical reviews, design workshops and project delivery
Mentoring and developing engineers within the wider Electrical team
Contributing to client relationships, framework delivery and the continued growth of the team
About You
Ideally, you will have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
Strong Electrical/EICA design experience
Experience leading complex engineering projects or providing technical direction
A good understanding of electrical design standards and technical governance
Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other engineers
Strong client and stakeholder communication skillsWhy Consider It?
