Our Client has a requirement for an Electrical Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Reading.

Role Purpose:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing expertise in the design, integration, and support of electrical systems and components within the project, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and supporting various phases of project execution.

Job Role Responsibilities & Experience

LV experience including BS 7671 and BS EN 60204, design of machine panels/enclosures, distributed & field I/O, containment & cabling runs.
High Voltage experience with design of fast response capacitors and distribution systems
BS EN 61508 and 61511 and safety rated systems experience.
Rockwell PLC/Panorama Scada ladder logic and development experience. Integration into large, distributed machine command & control systems.
Experience with design support during the Construction & Commissioning phases of a project.
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Understanding of configuration and design change control
Ability to understand and develop technical drawings.
Experience of report writing
Working Pattern:

8, 9 or 10 day fortnights on site (Reading)

Most common will be a 9 day fortnight:

5 day week:

Mon 8.25, Tues 8.25, Wed 8.25, Thurs 8.25, Fri 8

4 day week:

Mon 8.25, Tues 8.25, Wed 8.25, Thurs 8.25, Fri 0
