I am recruiting for a well-established Building Services consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support a growing workload across a varied range of projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients and play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable building services solutions. The Role As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams to provide practical, efficient and compliant engineering solutions.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse project portfolio while helping to mentor and develop junior members of the team.

What You'll Be Doing
Producing detailed electrical building services designs across all project stages.
Designing power, lighting, small power, emergency lighting and associated systems.
Preparing electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Using industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit and electrical design packages.
Coordinating designs with mechanical, sustainability and architectural teams.
Attending client and design team meetings.
Managing project deliverables and programme requirements.
Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Ensuring designs comply with current regulations, standards and best practice.What You'll Need
Experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer within a Building Services consultancy environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical building services design principles.
Experience producing detailed electrical designs and calculations.
Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
Good understanding of current UK Building Regulations and British Standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Working towards or already holding professional accreditation would be advantageous.What's In It For You?
