If you're an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer looking to accelerate your career, this is an outstanding opportunity to join one of London's fastest-growing M&E consultancies.
With an impressive pipeline of work Data Centre sector, you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of technically challenging projects while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
As the company grows, you'll have the chance to take on greater responsibility, mentor junior engineers and ultimately lead your own design team.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects and the wider engineering team.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Designing electrical building services systems across a range of sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, Residential and Education.
·Producing electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
·Designing LV distribution, lighting, small power, emergency lighting, fire alarms and other building services systems.
·Coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects and structural engineers using BIM/Revit where appropriate.
·Attending client meetings, site visits and design team meetings.
·Supporting project delivery through all RIBA stages.
·Ensuring designs comply with current British Standards and Building Regulations.
The Ideal Candidate
·3-5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a Building Services consultancy.
·Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
·Experience Data Centres
·Proficient in Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD, with Revit experience being highly desirable.
·Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and project teams.
·Able to attend project sites across London as required.
·A proactive mindset with the ambition to progress into a senior or leadership position.
