£50,000 - £65,000 per annum + Bonus
This is an opportunity to work on some of the most significant and technically challenging data centre projects across the UK and Europe.
A leading independent multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing Data Centre team. This is a great opportunity to move into the data centre sector without needing previous DC experience, while working alongside established specialists and taking a senior role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leading electrical design and calculations across projects
* Production and review of technical reports, specifications, schedules and design documentation
* Developing and reviewing electrical strategies and detailed designs
* Client engagement and attendance at project meetings
* Coordination with multidisciplinary project teams
* Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
* 3+ years’ electrical/building services experience within a consultancy environment
* Strong electrical design experience on technically complex and/or large-scale projects
* Previous data centre experience is not essential
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a relevant discipline
* Experience working directly with clients and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
* Chartered status or working towards Chartership
* Strong knowledge of relevant electrical design software (Amtech, Dialux, etc.) and industry standards
