Are you a Senior Electrical Design Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on diverse, technically challenging projects across multiple sectors?
A well-established building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team in Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in the design and delivery of innovative electrical building services solutions while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working and genuine career progression.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical standards.

You will work across a broad portfolio of projects within the Residential, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Hospitality, and Commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

·Leading the electrical design of building services projects from feasibility through to construction.
·Producing calculations, specifications, reports, and technical design documentation.
·Designing power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, security, and other electrical systems.
·Coordinating designs with internal and external project stakeholders.
·Attending client meetings and providing technical guidance throughout project delivery.
·Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
·Ensuring compliance with current regulations, industry standards, and best practice.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

·Experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer within a building services consultancy environment.
·Strong knowledge of electrical building services design and relevant industry standards.
·Experience delivering projects across one or more of the following sectors: Residential, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Hospitality, or Commercial.
·Proficiency with industry-standard design software.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
·The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
·A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
