Certain Advantage is hiring for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer based in the Southwest area.
This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role:
This role is for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
Technical leadership on control and instrumentation systems,
Supporting asset lifecycle management,
Developing modifications and upgrades,
Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements.The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:
Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
C&I engineering within a highly regulated industry.
Industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation and functional safety.
Producing and reviewing engineering calculations, specifications and design documentation.Desirable Attributes:
Understanding of safety-critical environments and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience with IEC 61508/61511 functional safety standards.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working in defence, energy, infrastructure or process industries.The Benefits:
