Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical and Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.

Responsibilities:
To conduct correspondences (including official letters) with the Employer, Subcontractors and Suppliers in order to protect the benefits and rights of the company within the scope of the contract
Creating and updating a follow-up table to ensure that correspondence is completed on time. Checking that correspondence, instructions and communications are prepared in accordance with the contractual terms and published within the prescribed time limits.
To evaluate and finalize notifications from Subcontractors and Suppliers (subcontractor/PO changes, suspension, termination, penalty, violation notification, dispute, force majeure, contract change, etc.) with Head Office departments.
To submit and finalize additional work and claims (CE) completely and accurately with the necessary supporting evidence files within the official notification period.
Preparing an annual budget and cash flow and following actuals on a monthly basis
Checking the compliance of purchasing orders (PO) with the plan in terms of budget and cash flow
Checking and correcting BO data and performing BO presentations
Preparing Comparative Take-off study
Updating quantities and budgets to SAP according to Comparative Take-Off Study REV0
Determination of estimated new unit prices together with Design, Site and Procurement Departments
Checking and managing the compliance of the deductions reflected in the progress payments with the contract
Preparing progress payments, updating progress payment tables monthly, and making targeted-actual comparisons
To evaluate and approve the progress payment amounts of subcontractors in accordance with Anel's progress payment by cross-checking them with progress, productivity and warehouse stock status reports
To create a project execution plan that includes technical scope, services, quantities, cost and work schedule definitions
To standardize planning reports to form the basis for claims
Preparing the opportunity analysis and presenting it to the project management
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying,
* Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveyor experience in MEP projects,
* Experience in NEC 4 Contracts, and industry standards,
* Commercial knowledge,
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills,
* Preferable to have Factory or Industrial Plant Experience
