The Specifications and Special Projects team is pivotal in translating our clients' exact visions into meticulously restored and reimagined vehicles. As a Senior Design and Specifications manager, you'll lead the team responsible for delivering stunning and unique specifications that exceed all expectations and honour our principal values. The Senior Design and Specifications manager will drive a best-in-class specification journey and commercially manage personalisation strategy across all restoration programmes. Serve as a content producer, ensuring the delivery of stunning and unique digital representations of vehicles that surpass client expectations while upholding our core principle’s. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Design and Specifications manager:

Drive a best-in-class design and specification journey for clients across all restoration Programmes.
Lead the team of Design & Specifications managers, supporting them in delivering signed off specifications within the required timeframes and meeting spec value objectives for all models.
Assess internal and client facing processes and lead initiatives to improve workflow, scope of personalisation and overall performance of the team.
Provide high-quality, technical education and training to clients and other contacts on topics such as: brand history/values, customer experience, current/future technology, performance and styling.
Develop and manage all structures, templates, and processes for design and specification-based (internal/external) interaction to successfully measure KPIs for client inspiration programs and Initiatives.
Define specification strategy for Global Partner Network and Encore programme.
Lead strategic decision making based on customer insights, contributing to commercial and personalisation strategy across all vehicle restoration programmes.
Report status and recommendations to senior management regularly to drive positive change.
Work in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate the ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
Report to the department head regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, analysis, budgets, and expenses.
The Ideal Senior Design and Specifications Manager will have:

Experience in design or specifications in the automotive luxury brand industry or equivalent brand industry.
3+ years of specific experience in client management and/or customer facing role.
People management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, or other relevant fields.
Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Team oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines.
Strong organisational and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently within and across departments.
