Introduction:
We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist - Cyber Security AI Researcher to join our client's innovative team. This is an exceptional opportunity, as a contract position, to take on challenging and dynamic projects while being part of an exciting digital security research environment.

Overview:
As the Senior Data Scientist - Cyber Security AI Researcher, you will primarily be responsible for conducting cutting-edge digital security research and innovation activities for our esteemed clients. You will work alongside a team of researchers who are experts in developing machine learning algorithms and employing natural language processing (NLP) techniques in cyber-security applications. Collaborating with internal and external peers on cyber security innovation activities, you will provide expert consultation services on specialist cyber security subjects. In addition, you will undertake internal and external engagements on behalf of the digital security office.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience working with Artificial Intelligence technologies.
2. At least three publications related to artificial intelligence or cyber security domains.
3. Experience designing deep neural networks architectures.
4. Digital security experience in relevant digital security specialist area.
5. A BSc degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.
6. Experience of patent applications and intellectual property management is preferable.

Skills:
In addition to these qualifications, we expect that suitable candidates possess skills such as proficiency using Python programming languages. We also require the candidate to be knowledgeable about statistical methods used often by Data Scientists. Additionally, a strong background in Security Architecture, Cyber Forensics and Incident Response, Industrial Control Cyber Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, Cryptography, Security Monitoring, Cyber Risk Management, and Secure Software Development is a must.
