Job Purpose:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll hold a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Your focus will be on advanced analytics, data warehousing, and fostering a data-driven culture. You will lead initiatives in data modeling, data lakes, and design reporting environments to empower stakeholders with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct complex statistical analysis on diverse data sets, focusing on data warehousing and data lake solutions.
Translate findings into actionable insights, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and others, to visualize and communicate data effectively.
Lead the design and optimization of the reporting environment, implementing automated data processes to enhance efficiency.
Develop and implement data models to support forecasting and decision-making processes.
Manage and execute data-related projects, with a strong emphasis on data modeling and forecasting techniques.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Protection Act in all data-related activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data literacy and promote a data-driven culture.
Experience Required:
Extensive experience in a Management Information/Analyst role, proficient in utilizing Cognos Business Analytic, Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel, and SQL.
Proven track record of effectively engaging with stakeholders, including senior executives and technical specialists.
Ideally, hands-on experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Oracle databases, and data warehouses.
Highly desirable expertise in Alteryx and familiarity with R and/or Python programming languages.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
