Senior Composites Engineer - Design or Material Science Engineer

The opportunity:
TCG is partnering exclusively with a leading high-performance composites business that has recently launched a new advanced technologies division focused on aerospace and defence programmes. The new division is founding it's engineering team, and is developing its own proprietary materials and deep-tech engineering IP.
We're recruiting an experienced Design Engineer for the more senior, technical end of the team. The focus is longer-term, complex aerospace and defence design work. The wider environment also spans motorsport, so there may be occasions where you turn your hand to faster-paced projects.
The role:
Own the more technical side of design on longer-term aerospace and defence programmes
Work across complex composite design and development
Contribute to a founding engineering team and help shape how the function is built
Flex into faster-paced motorsport projects when required
What we're looking for:
Composite Materials Science experience
R&D background in F1, Aerospace, Defence or similar
Ability to lead the more technical side of design work
Composites experience a strong advantage (the bulk of the work is composites-led), but not essential for the right engineer
Design pedigree and capability are the priority
CATIA V5 proficiency required; NX also considered
