Machinery Compliance Engineer
Macclesfield
£50,000 - £65,000 + Training + Progression + Pension
Are you experienced in machinery safety and compliance and looking to progress your career with an Approved Body?
This opportunity will allow you to work on diverse and technically interesting machinery safety projects for leading UK and global companies, while benefiting from ongoing professional development and support from industry experts.
This company is an Approved Body for Machinery with over 30 years of experience in machinery safety. They are UKAS accredited and provide certification and compliance services, with a strong reputation for technical excellence and developing their engineers.
This role would suit someone with strong experience in machinery safety, CE/UKCA compliance, and manufacturing environments who is looking to take the next step in their career.
The role:
Machinery safety inspections across a range of industries
Providing technical support in safe machine design
Supporting CE and UKCA marking requirements
Drafting and reviewing technical files
Delivering machinery safety training to customers
Supporting accreditation and compliance activities
The Person:
Experience with machinery safety and compliance in manufacturing environments
Knowledge of CE/UKCA requirements and standards (including C-type standards advantageous)
Mechanical Engineering degree (electrical knowledge beneficial)
Hands-on engineering experience (design, maintenance, or similar)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
