I am working with a well-known communications regulator to hire a Senior Compensation & Recognition Analyst to join their team based in Southwark, on a 3-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. n

We would like to speak to experienced professionals with in-depth experience of an annual reward cycle and building complex pay models and experience of all aspects of job analysis and pricing, including survey analysis.

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
Location: Southwark (5-10-minute walk from London Bridge) Hybrid working - 3 days on site and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Compensation and Recognition Manager to design, develop the annual pay, and bonus review model recommendations and roll out to Senior stakeholders and the wider organisation.
Participate in the development of the pay policy, reward strategy and design of new programmes/policies to meet business objectives.
Act as reward business partner, providing guidance and recommending the best course of action to the People Business Partners (PBPs) and wider People and Culture team.
Create and maintain close relationships with Payroll, Finance, People Operations, Workday and other relevant teams to ensure Reward information is accurate and relevant.
Coordinate participation into salary surveys and ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Research and gather internal and external salary data providing salary benchmarks and package recommendations to the People Business Partner and Recruitment teams, in line with the Reward principles and policies.
Manage the job levelling process including job evaluation, communication, and maintenance of outcomes.
Play a key role in the conduction of the Equal Pay Audit and Pay Gap reporting.
Develop and help with the preparation of internal communications and materials required to support compensation projects and processes, for example, briefing materials for line managers, company intranet and general reward guidance and communication.
Contribute to and prepare relevant internal governance papers, including their People Committee
Through networks and other relevant forums, keep up to date with monitoring external statutory, legal, and other best practice trends which may have an impact on the organisation's reward practices and principles and propose amendments where appropriate.
Contribute to the management and development of the organisation-wide recognition schemes, ensuring that they are run in an efficient manner.
Support the management of the risk and control environment for your area.
Ensure their HRIS (Workday) is up to date with relevant data such as job profiles, salaries and bonuses and maintain the job catalogue.
Lead and input into other Reward projects as and when required.
Contribute to the creation and development of a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.

What we are looking for:

In-depth experience of an annual reward cycle and building complex pay models.
In-depth experience of all aspects of job analysis and pricing, including survey analysis
Strong experience in data analysis and manipulating large volumes of data.
Strong knowledge of Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Job Evaluation and benchmarking methodologies
Demonstrable strong stakeholder management skills and experience of working with and influencing a diverse set of stakeholders.
Current knowledge of best practice in Reward, with ideally a good understanding of Recognition fundamentals
Experience of advising colleagues on reward queries
Experience of maintaining and managing data on Workday (desirable)
Strong written and communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
High level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to establish effective partnerships with HR and compensation colleagues.
Flexible, proactive approach and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
