Description:
Hyperion Partners is working in partnership with an established property management company to recruit an experienced Senior Commercial Property Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional to take ownership of a varied commercial portfolio, oversee day-to-day property operations and play a key role in delivering a high standard of service to clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management, with experience in service charge administration, leasehold matters, compliance and contractor management. This role would suit someone who can work autonomously, manage competing priorities and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring buildings are maintained and operated efficiently.
*
Take responsibility for service charge budgets, expenditure monitoring, reconciliations and financial reporting.
*
Oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and major works programmes.
*
Monitor statutory compliance, health and safety requirements and building safety obligations.
*
Conduct regular property inspections, identifying issues and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
*
Manage contractors, consultants and external suppliers, monitoring performance, costs and quality of work.
*
Maintain accurate property records, management reports and compliance documentation.
*
Review leases and monitor key lease obligations, ensuring relevant matters are actioned appropriately.
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, clients, professional advisers and other stakeholders.
*
Support the preparation of annual budgets, service charge estimates and year-end accounts.
*
Identify opportunities to improve property performance, operational efficiency and service delivery.
*
Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
*
Proven experience in commercial property management, ideally managing a varied portfolio.
*
A strong understanding of commercial leases, service charges and property management legislation.
*
Experience overseeing maintenance programmes, contractors, compliance and major works.
*
Confidence managing budgets, financial reporting and service charge reconciliations.
*
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
*
Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
*
The ability to work independently, make informed decisions and take ownership of responsibilities.
*
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management systems.
Relevant qualifications, such as RICS or TPI, would be advantageous.
