Senior Account Handler - Liverpool - Up to £50,000 - 4 Day Working Week
Join a Chartered, independently owned broker with over 50 years of combined experience - and become a key part of a client-focused team that takes real pride in the service it delivers.
This is a role for an experienced handler who's ready to take on greater responsibility across a commercial and corporate client base. You'll work closely with Account Executives, manage your own accounts on a direct basis, and play a central role in delivering best-in-class service across a varied and interesting portfolio.
Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Liverpool
Working pattern: Full time - 4 Day Working Week
What they're looking for
Cert/Dip CII qualified or actively working towards it
Minimum 7-10 years' experience in the insurance industry
Proven operational and client liaison experience within insurance
Strong IT skills across Word, Excel and PowerPoint
SSP Pure Software experience beneficial but not essential
Excellent organisational skills - comfortable managing multiple enquiries simultaneously
Calm under pressure, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine awareness of client needs, business issues and insurance programmesWhat you'll be doing
Managing and growing a portfolio of commercial and corporate client accounts
Supporting Account Executives across placement strategy, renewals and general insurance queries
Preparing and submitting accurate market presentations
Analysing quotes, negotiating cover and premiums with insurers
Handling MTAs and preparing client reports for renewal and ad hoc projects
Acting as a direct point of contact for day-to-day client queries on designated accounts
Producing insurer documentation in line with legislative and regulatory requirements
Keeping up to date with market conditions and sharing relevant insights with clients and colleaguesWhy join them?
