Description:
Our Client is a boutique licensed trust and corporate services provider operating from the Isle of Man. They are independently owned by their management team, who take a hands-on approach to ensure exemplary service to clients. Enjoying continued growth, they now require a Senior Client Accountant.
The Senior Client Accountant will play a leading role within the team, including:
* Assist the Finance Director in all aspects of the accounting function for client entities
* Preparation and review of financial statements for client companies, trusts and other entities - VAT returns & registrations,Tax returns (IOM and UK knowledge advantageous)
* Payroll for various clients (Manx and UK payroll knowledge advantageous)
* Account reconciliations
* Assist with training other staff members in the preparation of Financial Statements and VAT returns
The Senior Client Accountant will be experienced in all aspects of client accounting, including:
* Experience in managing a team of qualified and part qualified accountants
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
* Ability to prioritise workload without needing to be guided
* A methodical and highly organised approach to work
* Excel knowledge and experience
* Ability to use Quickbooks (or a similar accounting package)
Desirable:
* A background within Trust and Corporate Services will be an advantage
