Senior Civil & Structural Engineer - Water
Manchester | Hybrid Working
£50.00 per Hour | Outside IR35
Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start
We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to support the delivery of major UK water infrastructure projects.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll produce high-quality civil and structural designs while providing technical guidance and supporting project delivery from design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Produce civil and structural designs, calculations and technical reports.
Develop structural analysis models and engineering sketches.
Provide technical guidance to project teams.
Liaise with construction and project stakeholders.
Deliver work to programme and budget.
Identify value engineering opportunities.
Mentor and support junior engineers.
Essential
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards).
Strong UK water sector experience.
Knowledge of current UK design standards and regulations.
Experience in steel connection design and/or reinforced concrete detailing.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
