Senior Civil Engineer - Leicester
Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

An established and growing Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Leicester office.
The business delivers a broad range of projects across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, leisure and regeneration sectors, providing integrated civil and structural engineering solutions to developers, architects and contractors throughout the UK. With a strong project pipeline and a reputation for technical quality, they are looking to strengthen their civil engineering team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer.
The Role
Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage schemes from concept through to construction.
Prepare drainage strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and detailed drainage designs.
Produce and coordinate Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 submissions.
Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers, clients and multidisciplinary design teams.
Manage project programmes, budgets and deliverables.
Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
Attend client meetings and contribute to project delivery and business development activities.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience within a UK engineering consultancy.
Strong background in infrastructure and drainage design.
Experience delivering residential and commercial development projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage (Civil 3D beneficial).
Good understanding of UK design standards and adoption processes.
Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
