Contract Senior Civil Engineer – Drainage & Highways

???? Remote Working available

???? Competitive Hourly Rate (Outside IR35 considered)

A busy civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a contract basis.

This role will focus primarily on residential and commercial development schemes, with an emphasis on drainage and adoptable highways design.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Surface & foul water drainage design

SuDS strategies and detailed design

Flood Risk Assessments

S104 drainage agreements

S38 & S278 highway design and approvals

Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities

Supporting projects from feasibility through to technical approval

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone comfortable working autonomously and delivering compliant, buildable solutions.

Civils 3D

Causeway Flow

About You

Strong experience in UK residential and/or commercial development

Proven track record securing S104, S38 and S278 approvals

Confident working independently

UK-based with right to work
