Senior Civil Engineer
Leeds
£50,000-£55,000 plus benefits
We are working with an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy who have the benefit of multiple offices throughout the UK.
They are looking to grow their civils team in Leeds and would like to appoint a talented and ambitious senior civil engineer on a full time permanent basis. You will join a busy team led by an Associate and will head the civils team for projects, attending meetings and site visits.
Project experience should include mixed-use development, regeneration and residential developments, education, healthcare, private sector plus more.
About you:
Hold a degree in civil or structural engineering
Have at least 5 years' UK experience in roads and drainage design
Chartered or near Chartered (preferably ICE)
Have previous highways and drainage design experience
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey your ideas to colleagues and clients
Able to build relationships effectively
Be conversant with a wide range of relevant design software including Civils 3D for drainage networks
The role will ideally require you to have experience of flood risk assessments and bulk earthworks.
As a senior engineer you will have a high level of responsibility will need to be a team player who can solve problems, provide mentorship in a friendly manner and take pride in your work.
