Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer - Nuclear
Contract 12 Months
Glasgow, UK (Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite)

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Glasgow/Hybrid.
Role Purpose:
The role involves working with a Client specialising in designing large-scale process and treatment facilities for the safe handling of legacy nuclear materials. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain safety standards for one of our key clients in the nuclear sector.
Job Role Responsibilities:
Support Control & Instrumentation (C&I) engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Provide technical expertise on control systems, instrumentation, and safety engineering.
Conduct assessments and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Stay updated on industry developments in C&I engineering.
Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in C&I engineering.
Safety SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person).
Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred.
Experience in critical infrastructure projects (such as defense or government facilities) is advantageous.
