Description:

Barton Peveril is a large, thriving and innovative sixth form college in Hampshire. We have a vacancy available to join our existing kitchen brigade, with an immediate start date, though we can be flexible with this to allow for notice periods.

The right candidate will be expected to support the Head Chef in offering a first class catering service to both internal & external customers providing any food required for the various services offered by the college whilst adhering to all legal requirements. You will be expected to assist with the supervision and development of the kitchen brigade and deputise for the Head Chef in his absence. This would be a great opportunity for an already experienced Chef de Partie to further develop their skills working in a fresh food environment and within a different area of the hospitality sector and offers a great work life balance. You will be working in a very busy professional kitchen catering for large numbers on a daily basis and the main purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of a wide range of different cuisines and bespoke concepts catering for the multiple catering outlets on the college site
