A well-established and welcoming care home in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.
The home provides high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment, with a strong focus on residents' dignity, independence, wellbeing and individual needs.

Permanent contract working 33 hours per week

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive high standards of care and support. You will lead by example, supporting the wider care team and helping to ensure care is delivered in line with individual care plans, best practice and regulatory standards.
What we are looking for in a Senior Care Assistant:
N/SVQ Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
Previous experience working in a senior care role
Medication training is desirable, although training can be provided
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and proactive approach with a genuine passion for care
Confident working as part of a close-knit team
Ability to support, guide and motivate junior members of staff
Full eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship or visa switch available)
Willingness to undertake a PVG check
