Senior Buyer - Indirect

Our Global Manufacturing Client has an opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join their Indirect Team.

Working within the Global Services Team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for procuring a broad range of indirect goods and services to support the business needs.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for your category spend area
Prepare, coordinate and execute sourcing decisions for spend area
Manage the end-to-end procurement process - issuing RFI, tenders, commercial and contract negotiations
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve market-competitive pricing and acceptable commercial terms
Build strong working relationships with Supplier to discuss performance and drive continuous improvement
Work closely with colleagues to understand their short-term and long-term needs
Implement a Preferred Supplier ListExperience and knowledge required for the role:

Experience working in a similar procurement/sourcing role
Proven track record of sourcing and procuring indirect materials and services
Proven experience across the full Procurement lifecycle (Sourcing, Contracting and Supplier Management)
Strong negotiation and commercial skills
Communication and relationship-building skills who can work effectively with internal Colleagues and Suppliers
Can prioritise workload and manage multiple projects
