Senior Buyer - Residential/Construction

The primary role would be the procurement of materials for residential developments across the Southwest.
The developments are very high quality and often bespoke to the area they are built within.
Previous experience within the housing sector and experience using the COINS software system would be desirable.
The successful candidate should also have good skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
The role would entail the following:
* Taking off and scheduling materials from drawings and specifications.
* Sending supplier tender enquiries and analysing them on receipt.
* Negotiating prices with suppliers.
* Creating purchase orders using the COINS system.
* Manage and update the materials price database.
* Assisting sites with day-to-day plant and materials requirements.
* Dealing with site or supplier delivery/invoice queries.
* Check and authorise supplier invoices.
* Develop supplier relationships.
