Description:
Carmicheal are seeking a Senior Buyer on a freelance basis for approximately 6 months to work on a major infrastructure project based in Brackley.
This role will be based in the Brackley area to support the Procurement manager for a section of works managing the tender, analysis, negotiation and award of Subcontract packages.
You will act as the face of the client and ensure that all communication/negotiations/interactions with the supply chain are carried out in the spirit of our values and Procurement & Supply Chain vision.
You will carry out procurement to the highest ethical standard at all times and ensure that procurement exercises are made against value-based procurement decisions.
You will liaise with internal stakeholders and make sure that are engaged in the process throughout and endorse any recommendations. In addition, you will also prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders articulating package strategies and award recommendations.
About You
Excellent written skills and ability of drafting formal Subcontract documents.
Experience with NEC contracts.
Knowledge of Supply chain principles, procedures and methods.
Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
Ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders parties to achieve successful project outcomes
