Description:
A highly reputable and well known Civil Engineering company are actively looking for a Senior Buyer to join their organisation in Brackley, on a 6-Month Contract basis.
Applicants should have previous experience with subcontract documents and NEC contracts.
This Senior Buyer role will be based in Brackley, to support the Procurement manager for a section of Civil Engineering works managing the tender, analysis, negotiation and award of Subcontract packages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaise with internal stakeholders and make sure that are engaged in the process throughout and endorse any recommendations.
Effectively carry out smooth communication/negotiations/interactions within the supply chain.
Prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders articulating package strategies and award recommendations.
Adhere to purchasing guidelines and policies to challenge cost, quality, and delivery time
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Excellent written skills and ability of drafting formal Subcontract documents.
Experience with NEC contracts.
Knowledge of Supply chain principles, procedures and methods.
