An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and industry-leading manufacturing business with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. Operating from a modern production facility in South Wales, the company supplies specialist products to customers across the UK and internationally.
Role & Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for indirect/Direct goods and services.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service, implementing SLA
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferable)
Extensive experience in procurement & inventory management, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
Experience with ERP systems.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Power BI experience
