We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Buyer to join the Commercial team of a business located in the West Yorkshire area.
We’re keen to hear from passionate candidates who are eager to succeed and develop within a fast-growing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop sourcing strategies for tenders.
Manage supplier pre-qualification.
Collaborate on tender documents and contract terms.
Evaluate tender responses and lead clarification meetings.
Assess tender value and affordability.
Prepare award proposals and execute contracts.
Support and mentor junior team members.
About You:
Advanced commercial acumen and data management.
Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
Experience with multi-million-pound contracts.
Knowledge of terms and conditions.
Comprehensive procurement experience.
Minimum A-Level education or equivalent.
MCIPS accreditation (or working towards it).
Full UK clean driving licence.
Proven project management and negotiation skills.
Understanding of contract law and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
