I’m representing a truly global company who are looking for an experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer to support the Head of Procurement in a busy period of sustained growth. Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Procurement with the day-to-day management of the procurement function for the UK
* Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure favourable costs/terms for the business, with a strong focus on cost savings
* Develop and maintain long lasting supplier relations with suppliers
* Ensure consistent flow of raw materials to ensure smooth production process
About you
* Experience in the chemical industry – raw materials will be considered
* CIPS qualification (lvl 4) would be a distinct advantage
* Proven cost saver with examples of what and how this was done
* Strategic sourcing experience from locally and overseas
* SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
Package
* Salary up to 45k DOE
* 15% annual company bonus
