Are you a skilled and experienced Senior Buyer looking for a new opportunity in the steel fabrication industry? Our company is seeking a motivated individual to join our team and take on the role of Senior Buyer. As a CIPS qualified professional, you will be responsible for monitoring market trends, analysing data, and producing accurate forecasts to ensure our procurement processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research to stay updated on steel industry trends.
* Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
* Analyse data to forecast future procurement needs accurately.
Requirements:
* CIPS qualification or actively working toward certification.
* Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the steel fabrication industry
* Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office suite and procurement software
